The fossil replicas below are cast from the original fossils and painted to have the appearance of actual bone. The hand finishing and delicate casting material have been combined to create a work of art. As with any treasured art piece the fossil reproductions should be handled with care and respect afforded to most things of value.
Dinotreker will never sell real fossils as we feel that fossils belong in museums where they can be enjoyed by everyone and available for study by paleontologist and students alike.
OVIRAPTOR EGG
In 1923 scientists gave the name Oviraptor (egg eater) to this dinosaur which was found lying on top of a nest of what was though were Protoceratops eggs. It is now believed the Oviraptors were actually protecting their own eggs, rather than raiding the nest. This egg measures 6" x 2˝" and comes with an acrylic display stand. 1:1 scale
