Tyrannosaurus rexAlone or in pairs and possibly even in packs, Tyrannosaurus rex probably followed migrating herds of duckbill or horned dinosaurs, singling out the young or weak for a quick meal.  Another tactic, may have been to wait in ambush.  At the right moment charge the herd, jaws open wide.
