Tracy has been interested in dinosaurs as long as he can remember.  In elementary school, he would ask his teachers questions about dinosaurs and drew pictures of them as well as other prehistoric animals.  During his high school years wanting more information, he obtained a copy of Alfred Romer's 1966 "Vertebrate Paleontology" which became his dinosaur bible due to its wealth of information.

As Tracy's knowledge grew, he realized that there were so many dinosaurs discovered that he had never heard of so he wanted to learn more.  He purchased George Olshevsky's book "Mesozoic Wanderings" which is compilation of all the names of dinosaurs known at that time.  Tracy was given an opportunity to provide drawings for Darren Tanke of the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller Alberta Canada.

Tracy's artwork has appeared in a publication by George Olshevsky, Gakken Mook's "Dinosaur Frontline," "Dinosaur Encyclopedia," and "The Complete Dinosaur."  He currently writes and provides drawings for "Prehistoric Times " and "Dinosaur World" magazines.
